Scope of work: Project consisted of fully automated grease and grit sewer collection facility. Including extensive earthwork, with excavations more than 23 feet deep, forming rebar, pouring and stripping 24″ thick by 20 foot high concrete walls for the collection channels, installation of 24″ sewer main, 6ea 12 foot deep manholes, a 14″ forced main, installation of an active bypass, splitter box with 24″ knife gates, a 20″ quadplex lift station and associated valves. Other equipment installed includes a KWC auger monster, grit classifier and grease collector/auger. The scope of work included a metal building to house the equipment and a rail crane. All automated controls were integrated into the existing sewer processing system.
